by ImFreeatlast ini was just looking through the june 15 study wt and on page 9 at the bottem of paragraph 10 it says.... additional "disgusting things" include acts of pedophilia and other forms of sexual immorality committed by clergymen and tolerated by the church authorities.
is it any wonder that jehovah god will soon rid this earth of false religion?.

I am fed up with "Where else would I/We Go?"

That is a GREAT point!
That is exactly what I am doing: getting by. They obviously aren't guaranteeing anything, and their confidence meter is pretty low, anyway.

Has the mass exodus begun?

buildings are being sold, kingdomhalls are "compressing", bethelites are being sent home, watchtower format changing to public issues and private issues, more and more judicial committee meetings being held for apostasy.
(the watchtower is dead it just hasn't fallen over yet!

by LovesDubs ini remember reading...i think it was ray franz's book (how is ray anyway?
) that the gb said that the sheep "couldnt be trusted" to do anything voluntarily and therefore they couldnt stop the reporting arrangement because nobody would go.. since the statistics clearly clearly clearly indicate that going door to door doesnt work and in fact the number of hours spent bringing just one person into the organization amounts to like 8 hours a day every day for a year...youd think the society would get with the times and eliminate that method.
and...jesus never went door to door anyway.

by RubaDub inat least he mentioned that it was a fact to me ... .
he was rather startled that i knew about it but actually conceded that another brother asked him the same question ( i would like to know who ..lol).. anyway ... for those of us still attending some meetings ... this is great !!!.

Just like people of all backgrounds become Witnesses, people
of all backgrounds leave.
It is not due to intelligence level, educational level, income,
etc.
The good thing is that we are out, or are getting out. No more
lies and BS from the Society and local elders. No more cover-ups from
Headquarters about library cards and parking money. -

Why do we get stumbled out of JW's because of imperfect people?
by reniaa ini see this a lot on this forum, loads of people saying they left jw's because of "hypocritical ....... ( put elder, pioneer, couple, sister, brother, governing body) here.. but?.
why would you expect any man-run organisation if you believe the bible, to have to be perfect and not be full of imperfect people that will come across as hypocritical?.
the bible examples from israelites onwards name anyone :- moses, king david, pharasees, paul the one thing the bible doesn't do is white-wash them it shows that however much we follow the laws we are always fighting our own imperfection usually failing every time and needing to be corrected sometimes punished (moses had to give-up chance of seeing the foretold land), so why do we hold this against jw's as a reasons not to be a jw's anymore?.

It could even be argued that we should forgive pedophile actions of
Brother B.
But it is not isolated. I found out it was in the whole
damn organization.
That's bad. What's worse is this--you then find out that it
isn't even the truth, and that they have been hiding things.
